Peoples Emergency Briefing

The film brings together leading experts to explain, in a clear and accessible way, the challenges that climate change and the loss of nature pose for our communities, public services, the economy and our future. It also explores practical responses and encourages informed discussion about what can be done locally and nationally.
The event is aimed primarily at colleagues from Blackburn with Darwen Council, the voluntary, community and faith sector, and partner organisations. However, service users, volunteers and local residents with an interest in the subject are also very welcome to attend.
Following the screening there will be an opportunity to share thoughts, ask questions and discuss what the issues might mean for Blackburn with Darwen, and how we can work together to respond.
