Using the latest edition of the Resolve Poverty Poverty Monitor, to explore key poverty indicators across the North West and demonstrate how data can be used to support evidence-based decision-making, policy development and service design.The webinar will also explore the value of combining lived experience with quantitative data to develop an understanding of how to tackle poverty. There will also be opportunity to ask questions.

Martyn’s Law – A practical walk through the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025

The Church of England and Community Security Trust (CST) welcome you to a webinar on Martyn’s Law, with an emphasis on Standard Duty Premises.
Martyn’s Law requires premises to be prepared for attacks, ready to respond, able to mitigate impact and reduce physical harm. Larger premises and events must also take steps to reduce vulnerability to attacks. It establishes who is responsible for considering risk and how to prepare.
Looking at what you will need to do in order to comply with Martyn's Law – which premises/events are ‘in-scope’ and the requirements for Standard and Enhanced Duty Premises, and for Qualifying Events. Also a look at the regulator’s responsibilities and enforcement. Finally, discussion on some practical examples and suggestions.
