As securing additional grant funding is becoming more important than ever, this half day training course on ‘How to write and develop exceptional grant funding applications” will be of interest to you.
Whether a complete novice or have some experience of bidding, the training will provide delegates with practical advice to enable them to create a compelling and high quality grant funding application, whether they be looking for a few hundred pounds or thousands. The 3 hour course summarises Stephen Wright’s experience gained over a 24 year career.

Action Together are offering Part 1 of the Introduction to Bid Writing training session to groups who are thinking of applying for funding or would like a refresher on some of the key fundamentals in writing funding applications for small grants.
Aims of session:
To improve your understanding of funding terminology and provide you with the knowledge to become a funder-ready organisation.
In this session you will:
Improve your understanding the key terms funders use and in what context
Learn how to evidence the need for a project
Learn how to develop relevant outcomes and outputs for potential projects
Volunteers/staff interested in writing funding applications for up to £10,000
People working in VCFSE organisations with a responsibility for bid-writing
The training course is for VCFSE groups who are based in/operate in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside.
You will need to register to attend the training session and there are a limited number of places available. The sessions will be delivered online via the Zoom platform and login details will be sent one day before the session to registered participants.
